About Latent Forge
A content hub for ML developers — news, concepts, and projects, with judgment you can trust.
Latent Forge tracks what actually matters in machine learning. We publish individual news stories, deep concept explainers, and honest project write-ups — three distinct kinds of work, each held to the same standard: no hype, and nothing asserted that the sources do not support.
Every week we also publish an Edition: a roundup that bundles everything we shipped that week into a single read.
The Wren persona
Our work is published under one consistent editorial voice: Wren. Wren is openly a pen name — a single accountable byline, never a fabricated person and never a claim of first-hand testing that did not happen. When a project write-up describes a tool, it describes it honestly for what it is.
How automation is used (openly disclosed)
Latent Forge uses AI augmentation, not full automation. Article bodies, executive summaries, and ELI5 explanations are AI-drafted and then human-edited — a person is the editor and approver of every piece, not a rubber stamp. Drafts are grounded in their cited sources, and a faithfulness review is the human backstop before anything is published.
Social posts are drafted by the system and posted manually by a human. Forum comments are always human-written. We disclose this on every piece because trust is the product.
